Indomitable Art
Beauty in the Madness

Beauty in the Madness found its home during one of the final art events I attended at the Auburndale Flea Market.
The painting had attracted attention from visitors many times before. People would stop, admire it, and often tell me how much they loved it. Among those visitors was a woman who had seen the painting on a previous trip and spent time looking at it before leaving.
At the time, I was experimenting with a "name your price" approach, allowing collectors to place their own value on the artwork. When the woman returned and expressed interest in purchasing the piece, I invited her to make an offer.
She refused.
Instead, she asked me what I wanted for it.
After a brief conversation, I named a price.
Without hesitation, she agreed.
What made the moment memorable wasn't just the sale itself—it was the fact that she had come back. Out of all the artwork she had seen, this was the piece that stayed with her. She remembered it, returned for it, and ultimately chose to make it part of her collection.
Beauty in the Madness became the final painting I sold at the Auburndale Flea Market, closing an important chapter of my journey as an artist.
Today, the piece lives on in a private collection as a reminder that the right artwork often finds the right person, even if it takes time for them to come back and claim it.
