This piece found its home during my time selling artwork at local flea markets.

One day, a young girl stopped at my booth and immediately fell in love with the tiger painting. From the moment she saw it, she knew it was the one she wanted. The only challenge was convincing her mother.

What followed was a determined negotiation between daughter and parent. The young collector made her case, explaining why she loved the painting and why she felt it belonged with her. Watching her persistence and enthusiasm was almost as memorable as the sale itself.

Eventually, her determination paid off.

Seeing how much the artwork meant to her, I decided to lower the price and help make the purchase possible. Even with the adjustment, the sale remained profitable, but the real reward was seeing how excited she was to take the painting home.

Of all the sales made at the flea market, this one stands out because it was driven by pure appreciation. There were no discussions about investment value, home décor, or future resale potential. A young girl simply saw a piece of art that spoke to her and refused to give up until it became hers.

Today, the painting remains a reminder that great art doesn't always connect with the most experienced collector—sometimes it connects with the person who loves it the most.
